Kansa village near Mehsana,GUJARAT, has refrained from fire crackers since last several decades.
It is a rule which is being followed by the villagers voluntarily in the interest of the environment.
The villagers in lieu of the fire crackers in Diwali, organise sports events and there is tremendous participation.
