AHMEDABAD: A team of 26 child scientists from the state will represent Gujarat at 18th National Children Science Congress (NCSC) to be held at VELS University campus in Chennai from December 27 to 31.
The theme of the NCSC is 'Land Resources: Use for Prosperity, Save for Posterity'. Children between 10 and 17 years will present innovative projects and ideas on the theme and six sub-themes.
"The children along with their guides were invited to Science City and were given an orientation about their scientific presentation as well as overall performance in activity corner, face-to-face interaction with scientists, poster presentation, flag hoisting and cultural presentations," said Narottam Sahoo, senior scientist of Gujarat Science City.
